Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before subscribing. By using BeSwitchReady, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not subscribe.

1. About BeSwitchReady

BeSwitchReady ("we", "us", "our") is a subscription service that creates and maintains two active Direct Debit mandates in your name via GoCardless, a regulated UK payment provider. Our service is designed to help you meet the Direct Debit requirements set by UK banks when claiming current account switching bonuses.

2. The Service

2.1 What we provide

  • Two separate Direct Debit mandates (Plan A and Plan B), each collecting £1.00 per month, created in your name via GoCardless
  • A BeSwitchReady service fee of £0.99 per month, collected via Stripe
  • Email guidance on UK bank switching offers and how to qualify
  • Ongoing maintenance of your mandates while your subscription is active

2.2 What we do not provide

  • Financial advice — we do not recommend specific banks or financial products
  • A guarantee that any bank will accept our Direct Debits for their specific switching requirements
  • Any responsibility for the terms, availability, or payment of any bank switching bonus
Important: While our Direct Debits are real, active mandates that appear in your bank, we cannot guarantee they will be accepted by every bank for every switching offer. Always check the specific terms of any switching offer before applying.

3. Subscription and Payments

3.1 Pricing

The total monthly cost of BeSwitchReady is £2.99, broken down as:

  • Direct Debit Plan A — £1.00/month (collected via GoCardless)
  • Direct Debit Plan B — £1.00/month (collected via GoCardless)
  • BeSwitchReady service fee — £0.99/month (collected via Stripe)

3.2 Billing

Payments are collected monthly from your subscription date. All three payments are collected on or around the same date each month, though exact dates may vary by 1–2 working days.

3.3 Failed payments

If any payment fails, we reserve the right to retry or suspend your account. We will notify you by email of any failed payment.

4. Cancellation

4.1 Your right to cancel

You may cancel at any time. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Full details are in our Cancellation Policy.

4.2 How to cancel

  • Email us at hello@beswitchready.co.uk
  • Cancel your Direct Debits directly through your bank app
  • Use the Stripe customer portal (link in your subscription confirmation email)
Important: If you cancel before your switching bonus has been confirmed and paid, your switch may be disqualified. We are not liable for any lost bonuses resulting from early cancellation.

4.3 Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months. You have a 14-day cooling-off right from the date of first subscription — see our Cancellation Policy for full details.

5. Your Responsibilities

  • You are aged 18 or over and a UK resident with a UK bank account
  • The bank account details you provide are your own
  • You will not use our service for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose
  • You understand that bank switching bonuses are subject to each bank's own terms
  • You will not attempt to misuse or abuse our Direct Debit system

6. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for any switching bonus that is declined, delayed, or cancelled by any bank
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial loss arising from use of our service
  • Our total liability to you in any calendar month shall not exceed the amount you paid us in that month

Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the BeSwitchReady website is owned by or licensed to BeSwitchReady. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of our content without prior written consent.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
