Is BeSwitchReady legit?

What it is, what it costs, what it can't do, and how to cancel. Plain answers before you pay.

The short answer

It's a real UK company that does what it says. It isn't a guarantee.

BeSwitchReady Ltd sets up two genuine £0.99 Direct Debits for £1.98 a month and keeps you up to date on switching offers. It can't promise you'll get any bank's bonus, because each bank decides who qualifies.

What you're paying for

£1.98a month in total
2genuine Direct Debits at £0.99 each
0cancellation fees

The two Direct Debits show on your statement as BESWITCHREADY A and BESWITCHREADY B, collected by Stripe through Bacs. Many switching offers ask for two active Direct Debits, and these give you them. Members also get offer alerts first, a monthly "best next switch" pick, deadline reminders and a monthly newsletter.

What it can't do

  • Guarantee a bonus. Banks set their own rules, including pay-in, card spend and exclusions, and can refuse a claim.
  • Work for every offer. Some offers have extra rules. Santander's recent £240 offer only counted household bills, which a membership Direct Debit didn't meet.
  • Give financial advice. It's general information, not personal advice.

Who it's for, and who it isn't

Worth considering if

  • You have few or no bills on Direct Debit
  • You want to switch for bonuses more than once
  • You'd like deadlines and new offers flagged for you

Probably not for you if

  • You already have several bills on Direct Debit
  • You only plan one switch and are happy to track offers yourself
  • You want a guaranteed result

How it makes money

From the £1.98 membership fee, and from affiliate links on some pages, where we may earn a commission if you sign up with a partner. The affiliate disclosure explains how that works. The live offers tracker and guides are free for everyone.

Your data and your money

  • You enter bank details on Stripe's secure page, not on our site.
  • You're covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
  • BeSwitchReady Ltd is registered in England and Wales and registered with the ICO. Read the privacy policy and terms of service.
  • Cancel through your bank or by emailing hello@beswitchready.co.uk. There's no minimum term.

Who runs it

BeSwitchReady is run by John, a one-person business. If you've got a question, reply to any member email or write to hello@beswitchready.co.uk and John will answer himself.
